Siemens Molecular Imaging build software that helps doctors understand patient’s health problems more clearly. The company is widely known for its software products such as Reveal MVS, Fusion 7D and McKesson. Their software typically takes CT, PET and other medial images and fuses them together into an image which is more useful for the doctor.
The software is typically sold by the Siemens sales as a differentiator in large scanner sales. The major market for the software is the USA but recently growth has been taken to Japan and Europe.
As the marketing team is based in the UK it is difficult to get feedback from the US sales people in the field. Siemens Molecular Imaging needed to know which training materials, sales aids, presentations etc were the most appreciated and therefore where to concentrate their resources in the future. Sales aids and training takes a lot of time, budget and thought to prepare and without proper feedback can never improve and meet the sales people needs.
The marketing department at Siemens Molecular Imaging realised they needed a way for sales people to give feedback on their help regardless of the time zone and language they spoke.
Feedback process becomes completely automated Siemens worked with smARTebusiness to develop a survey system that created a unique survey for each piece of marketing material. A unique survey link was placed on each piece of marketing material so that the sales person could quickly fill in their comments online. Results were automatically stored in a database and were sent via email to the marketing manager. Results were kept in a format that would allow easy data analysis at a later stage. SmARTebusiness is an expert in creating effective to way communications between companies and their stakeholders.
With the feedback system in place Siemens could concentrate on developing new materials rather than having to type in the surveys manually. Also knowledge of how past materials are received allows better work.
