I think this is an interesting move for Google and how in the future they are going to help users refine their search.  For us web people it means that there will be ‘rich snippets markup’ that we can use to tell google more about our content.  I guess that they will start to roll this out to other things like real estate and items where a single search term is not sufficient to give people what they need.

It does mean that Mom and Pop type websites might miss out on the organic traffic that they have always had if they do not go and invest in a coder to write the rich snippets.  But I guess ‘engines’ will become available to allow these types of web users to create content.
